Kenney Signs worked in conjunction with BFM Architects on a large sign package for the new Washington County Free Library building located at 100 South Potomac Street in Hagerstown Maryland which opened to the public in the Fall of 2013. Our goal was to create a cohesively designed sign package that complemented the modern industrial design of the new building.
This project was of a larger scope and involved over 240 signs, many of which were jobs within themselves. Some of the elements of this project included several exterior signs, window and wall lettering, a cast bronze dedication plaque, various types of section identification, ADA signs, interior dimensional wall lettering, and donor signage. Our focus was to keep all the signs, of various types of a uniform design to enhance the overall appearance of the space.
